Our school board during celebration |
The flag of Malaysia, also knows as the Jalur Gemiland (stripes of Glory) comprises a field of 14 alternating red and white stripes along the fly and a blue canton bearing a crescent and a 14 point start known as the Bintang Persekutuan (Federal Star).
The 14 strips, of equal width, represent the equal status in the federation of the 13 states and 14 points of the star represent the unity between these states.
The star and crescent represent Islam because Malaysia is Islamic country. The blue canton symbolizes the unity of the Malaysian people, the yellow of the star and crescent is the royal color of the Malay rulers.
Also before few days i bought myself Malaysian flag so i will put it in my room when i return back in my country.
Also about Ramadan, I think Malay students were very excited i can say also me first because i celebrate Ramadan in my country becuse im half musilm. and second this year celebrating Ramadan is totally new becuse i celebrate with different people, different food, etc.
So these pictures are some of my favourite and there is also Malaysian national anthem (Lagu Negaraku).
